Ethics

Ethics is a study of what is right and what is wrong.  Ethics differs from morality, in that one can be a morally upright person and know nothing about ethics.  On the other hand, a person can know ethical theory very well, but be quite an immoral individual.  Morality is practical; ethics is theoretical.  Morality is how people actually do behave; ethics is how men ought to behave.
